Decorated for the holidays, the entrance to the gymnasium that is still in use stands in stark contrast to the broken windows and peeling paint of the rest of the old Palisade High School building. Town Administrator Rich Sales has been charged by city leaders with seeking grants for the $400,000 it will cost to remove asbestos from the building, which is only one of several fixes to be made.
