Clerk: Piloted election machines were 'slick'

The election equipment that the Mesa County Clerk's Office was piloting for the state worked like a charm, County Clerk Sheila Reiner said Wednesday. Instead of starting and stopping whenever a glitch arose, as the county's normal machines do, these not only kept going, but also efficiently tagged any ballots that needed a human eye later, Reiner said.
