An 84-year-old woman did not want to disturb law enforcement at a late hour when a thief entered her home at about 1 a.m. Saturday, according to the Mesa County Sheriff's Office. The thief entered through an unlocked back door and stole an Xbox game controller valued at $50, the Sheriff's Office said.
