City's offer on airport building raises questions The city's offer of $1.5 million to enclose the exterior of the unfinished airport administration building raises more questions than it answers. First and foremost, why are the city, the Sentinel's editorial board, and Sentinel columnist Jim Spehar so invested in completing this project? Why demean and threaten volunteer airport board members who are cleaning up the Tippetts mess, and proceeding with appropriate caution? Why indeed, when none of the folks anxious to complete the structure have yet to articulate a useful purpose? It is very curious.
