Four Grand Valley community-betterment projects have earned recognition from the Colorado Lottery, which presented Starburst Awards to the city of Grand Junction, the town of Palisade and Mesa County. Proceeds from the lottery fund Great Outdoors Colorado, which uses the proceeds to support a variety of outdoor-related projects across the state.
