Scanner traffic indicates officials have two ATV teams in the area and a few handlers with dogs in the area, and are searching near a vehicle in the area of Divide Road. Mesa County Sheriff's Deputy Jason Bittle confirmed that a search is in progress in the area, and that the Civil Air Patrol is helping with the search.
