The historical marker that was once celebrated at the state line between Colorado and Utah on U.S. Highway 6 has been restored. On Saturday the marker, which had become a canvas for graffiti, gunshots and other abuse, was celebrated in its new home on the south, or eastbound, side of Interstate 70. When Cliff Mays Jr. and other employees at Mays Concrete last year first saw the Colorado-Utah state line monument that they intended to restore, they were flummoxed.
