A man on probation for a previous assault is accused of throwing a large rock at a man in Whitman Park on Saturday, causing a large cut on the victim's forehead. Roger Bradley, 34, was detained by Grand Junction police in the 200 block of Colorado Avenue some time after the alleged incident, and was allegedly yelling that "he just hit a guy with a rock in the park," according to an arrest affidavit.
