A parolee with a lengthy record who was arrested last night is suspected in a string of home burglaries in Grand Junction targeting women's clothing and accessories. Jerry Madrid, 49, of Grand Junction, was ordered today held at the Mesa County Jail on suspicion of theft from auto, first-degree criminal trespass of an auto and criminal mischief.
