Teachers' union leads in campaign funding

District 51 school board candidates Doug Levinson and Paul Pitton are the only candidates to receive campaign donations so far, and their funding sources vary widely from one another. Pitton, running in District B, is the only candidate who received monetary donations from the Mesa Valley Education Association, with $4,000 from the teachers' union disclosed on his campaign contribution report.
