The Mesa County Coroner reports three-year-old Virgil Stansberry was the boy hit by a Grand Valley Transit bus on May 19. The cause of death is multiple injuries and the manner of death is accident. Stansberry was crossing North Avenue with his mother last Tuesday when a GVT bus, that was making a right turn onto North Avenue from 29 Road hit him.
