Doug Winter got his start as a volunteer at the Mesa County Jail before eventually being hired full-time by the Mesa County Sheriff's Office as jail chaplain. Winter identifies himself as a Christian chaplain, but he says he's "here to support all forms of religion" as requested by inmates.
