Tilman "Tillie" Bishop acknowledges the crowd Tuesday as he is awarded the Grand Junction Lions Club's Melvin Jones Award at Two Rivers Convention Center. Bishop is only the eighth Lion in the service club's history to receive such recognition, named for the founder of Lions Clubs International.
