If all goes as planned, a second retail recreational marijuana store will open in De Beque in a few months, thanks to a series of license and review approvals Monday night by town trustees. Elk Mountain Trading Post, which will include retail marijuana sales and a retail marijuana growing operation, received the thumbs up from town officials to open in De Beque out of a self-storage area at 170 E. Third St. "If you come into our shop you will get the wow factor of Colorado," said Suzanne Sheley, one of four co-owners starting up the business.
