The man suspected of crashing his truck into two elderly people who were walking their dog in Clifton Sunday afternoon has been identified as 40-year-old Shane James Love of Grand Junction. Love, of 2814 1/2 Texas Ave., was booked into the Mesa County Jail on suspicion of two counts of vehicular assault while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, two counts of vehicular assault while driving in a reckless manner and single counts of driving under the influence and reckless driving.
