The 2014 General Election is upon us and while campaign signs still line the streets of Grand Junction candidates are working overtime Monday to bring in supporters and make sure everyone is turning in their ballots. "We're phoning them asking them to vote to see if there's a problem if they need transportation to get to the election center," said Claudette Konola, Democratic candidate for State Senate District 7. Republican Mesa County Sheriff candidate Matt Lewis said, "We'll be out there trying to catch those last minute voters that are undecided or want to wait to vote on election day.
